Hand Forged Gyuto

A Gyuto is the Japanese version of the classic Western Chef's knife. It is a multi-purpose knife that can perform a wide range of tasks. It can be used with a variety of different cutting techniques and is suitable for cutting the vast majority of meats, fishes, vegetables and fruits.

This one has been forged in 1084 steel with a forged fuller to help with food release. It has a concave grind with a very slight convex right at the edge.

The handle is dyed and stabilised Redwood with a g10 spacer and simple file work.
